This notice explains the limited information PackageTheWorld processes when you read the site or choose to join its editorial newsletter.

Website measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and website performance. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and reports anonymized, aggregated measurements. We do not send email addresses or newsletter form contents to analytics.

When newsletter subscriptions are available and you subscribe, we process your email address, the time of consent, and the fact that you subscribed through PackageTheWorld. We use that information only to deliver and operate the newsletter. We do not sell newsletter information. You may unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter message.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the website and provides aggregate analytics. If newsletter service resumes, the signup form will securely send subscription information to the email provider used to deliver the publication. That provider will process the data only to operate the newsletter and its required suppression list.

Retention and your choices

Newsletter records are retained while you remain subscribed and as needed to honor unsubscribe requests. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your newsletter information, or object to its use, by emailing team@pakingduck.com. PackageTheWorld is affiliated with Paking Duck Inc., which handles these privacy requests.

Changes

We may update this notice when our services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
